Privacy Policy

The short version

RavenRei is a job search tool built for people, not data brokers. We collect only what we need to run the product, we never sell your information, and you can ask us to delete everything at any time.

What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and the date you signed up. We also record which source brought you to the page so we can understand where our audience comes from.

When you use RavenRei, we collect your job application data — companies, roles, statuses, and notes — which you enter or which the agent reads from your recruiting email. We also store agent run history so you can see what the agent found and when.

We do not collect your Apple ID password, your Google account password, or any password of any kind. Email access is granted via app-specific passwords (iCloud) or read-only OAuth tokens (Gmail), both of which you control and can revoke at any time directly from your email provider.

Gmail access

When you connect Gmail, RavenRei requests the gmail.readonly scope. This grants read-only access to your Gmail messages. RavenRei uses this access solely to identify recruiting-related emails — interview confirmations, status updates, offer letters, and rejections.

We do not read, store, or process any other email content. We do not access your contacts, calendar, Google Drive, or any other Google service. The agent cannot send email, delete email, or modify your inbox in any way.

You can revoke Gmail access at any time by visiting myaccount.google.com/permissions and removing RavenRei. Revoking access stops the agent immediately — no action required on our end.

Microsoft / Outlook access

When you connect a Microsoft or Outlook account, RavenRei requests the Mail.Read permission via Microsoft OAuth. This grants read-only access to your Outlook or Microsoft 365 mailbox. RavenRei uses this access solely to identify recruiting-related emails — interview confirmations, status updates, offer letters, and rejections.

We do not read, store, or process any other email content. We do not access your contacts, calendar, OneDrive, Teams, or any other Microsoft service. The agent cannot send email, delete email, or modify your inbox in any way.

You can revoke Microsoft access at any time by visiting myaccount.microsoft.com/permissions, selecting RavenRei under Apps & permissions, and choosing Remove permissions. Revoking access stops the agent immediately — no action required on our end.

How we protect your data

Email credentials, OAuth tokens and iCloud app-specific passwords, are encrypted at rest using Google Cloud KMS. They are never stored as plain text.

All traffic between your browser, our servers, and our email and AI providers is encrypted in transit over HTTPS.

You can revoke email access at any time directly from your provider (Gmail, Microsoft, or iCloud). Revoking access takes effect immediately, on our end and yours.

AI processing of email content

RavenRei uses artificial intelligence to analyze the content of recruiting emails on your behalf. When the agent identifies a recruiting-related email in your inbox, the text of that email is sent to Anthropic's Claude API — a third-party AI service — to extract structured information: the company name, role, application status, interview details, and next steps.

This is the core of how RavenRei works. Without AI processing, the agent cannot identify what an email means or update your pipeline automatically.

Only the text of recruiting-related emails is processed this way. Personal emails, financial emails, and any email the agent determines is not recruiting-related are never sent to the AI.

How we use it

Your email address is used to send transactional messages about your account and occasional product updates you opted into. We do not send marketing email to people who did not ask for it.

Your job application data is used exclusively to power your RavenRei pipeline and coaching. It is never shared with employers, recruiters, or any third party.

Your email credentials are used only to read recruiting-related email on your behalf. The agent reads email — it does not send email, delete email, or modify your inbox in any way.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted services to run RavenRei: Supabase for database storage, Google Cloud Platform for the agent infrastructure, Loops for email delivery, and Anthropic for AI processing of recruiting email content. Each of these services processes your data only as necessary to provide the service and is bound by their own privacy policies.

We do not share your data with anyone else. We do not sell it. We do not use it to train AI models.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete your account or export your data at any time. Email us at hello@ravenrei.ai with the subject line that describes what you need. We will respond within 24 hours and complete any deletion within 7 days.

If you connected your email to RavenRei, you can revoke that access at any time directly from your email provider. For iCloud, go to appleid.apple.com and delete the app-specific password labeled RavenRei. For Gmail, go to myaccount.google.com/permissions and remove RavenRei.
